WORK AT YOUR OWN PACE, IN YOUR OWN TIME

The course has been designed with the bodhrán player in mind. Work through 8 modules of content at your own speed, and in your own time. We start at the very beginning working through the fundamentals, tonal hand, reels, jigs and a range of dynamic technical and music exercises.

SPECIALLY RECORDED PRACTICE TRACKS

One of biggest challenges for a beginner bodhrán player is finding suitable music to practice with. I’ve recorded 4 tracks comprising 7 tunes in total especially for this course and together I’ll take you through a selection of brilliant patterns so you can play along with confidence. The tracks feature Aleksandra Henszel on flute and whistle, and Dave Dellare on guitar.

OVER 4 HOURS OF VIDEO CONTENT

The course includes over 4 hours of broadcast quality video content in 4k with both front and side camera angels to demonstrate playing and tonal hands at work. The course includes 42 videos in total. On screen graphics are also provided to help you visualise the patterns in practice.
